The Department of Microbiology, MLB Medical College, Jhansi, observed World Hepatitis Day with great enthusiasm and active participation from MBBS students. The celebration aimed to raise awareness about viral hepatitis, its prevention, early diagnosis, and the importance of timely treatment.

The programme featured an engaging Poster Presentation Competition and Extempore Competition, where students showcased their creativity, scientific understanding, and communication skills on various aspects of viral hepatitis.

A Free Viral Hepatitis Testing Camp was also organised to promote early detection and reinforce the importance of screening among the community.

The Department sincerely acknowledges the valuable support and encouragement of Principal Sir, whose guidance made the successful conduct of the programme possible.

The Department also extends its heartfelt gratitude to the esteemed judges—Dr. Renu Sahay, Dr. Shobha Chaturvedi, Dr. Pankaj Mustaria, and Dr. Mani Goyal—for sparing their valuable time and providing thoughtful evaluation and encouragement to the participants.
